Sharon Mason

Sharon Mason is an experienced executive in the health and local government sectors, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer for both Selwyn District Council and Buller District Council since July 2023 and October 2018, respectively. In addition to these roles, Mason is a Board Trustee for Buller Health Trust and held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Clutha Health First from January to July 2023. Previous experience includes pivotal roles such as Chief Operating Officer at Hawkes Bay District Health Board, Director of Operations at Southern District Health Board, and Executive General Manager at North West Area Health Service.
