Oral Gomez

Oral Gomez is an experienced professional in the field of process engineering, currently serving as the Director of Ops Engineering at Sempra Infrastructure for Port Arthur LNG since May 2023, after previously holding the position of Operations Engineering Manager at the same site. Prior to this, Oral Gomez worked at Freeport LNG as Lead Process Engineer from February 2017 to May 2023 and at Hunt Oil Company as Senior Process Engineer Lead for Peru LNG from March 2013 to February 2017, where responsibilities included optimizing processes and supporting operations to achieve reliability targets. Earlier experience includes roles at Atlantic LNG, where expertise in process operations and instrumentation controls was provided, and at PCS Nitrogen, where duties involved leading start-up and shutdown operations. Oral Gomez holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Applied Process & Utilities (Chemical Option) from the University of Trinidad and Tobago and a Diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology from TTIT/SAIT.
