Aravind Ratnam

Aravind leads Product at Sense. He is a technology and business strategy leader and has deep market expertise in automotive lidar. His career has spanned R&D/engineering, management consulting, and startups with a specific focus on strategic product leadership and value creation on top of Edge hardware with software and artificial intelligence. Prior to Sense, Aravind was VP of Product at AEye, a leading Lidar company, and before that, served as the product leader roles for connected car solutions at Wind River, an embedded systems company that was part of Intel’s IoT group, where he successfully led corporate strategy and products of the Wind River automotive portfolio.

Aravind also spent several years in management consulting firms, including IBB and Monitor Deloitte, and cut his teeth in technology at Cymer (a subsidiary of ASML), a manufacturer of sophisticated UV lasers for semiconductor lithography, and at two space agencies—ISRO and NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
