Tara Whitefield

Tara Whitefield serves as the Veterinary and AP Billing Administrator at Shanti Project, a San Francisco-based non-profit, since January 2016. This role is conducted remotely and contributes to the organization's mission of enhancing the health and well-being of individuals facing terminal or life-threatening conditions. Prior to this, Tara worked at Pets Are Wonderful Support (PAWS SF) from November 2008 to June 2014, where responsibilities included Interim PAWS Program Director and Director of Client Services. Additionally, experience includes a tenure at St. Anthony Foundation from January 2004 to June 2008, serving as Senior Outreach & Support Services Social Worker. Tara holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from San Francisco State University.
