Daniel Ralston

Daniel Ralston has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Daniel started their career in 1993 as a Product Engineer at AM General. From 1996 to 1999, they worked as a Program Manager and Product Engineer at Dura Automotive. Daniel then moved on to McKechnie Vehicle Components, where they served as a Program Manager, Product Engineer, and Technical Marketing Engineer from 1999 to 2001. Following this, they joined Intier Automotive as a Senior Product Engineer from 2001 to 2003. From 2003 onwards, Daniel held various positions at Shape Corp., formerly known as NetShape Int'l. Daniel started as an Advanced Product Development Engineer from 2003 to 2006. Daniel then served as a Product Manager and Engineering Manager from 2006 to 2011, followed by a role as a Senior Product Engineer for Chrysler from 2011 to 2014. Daniel's most recent position is as the Global Engineering Leader at Shape Corp., which they have held since March 2021. In this role, they oversee global product engineering for the company's Ford business and leads a team responsible for developing and positioning product solutions, optimizing performance, cost, and mass, and satisfying customer needs.

Daniel Ralston's education history begins with their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, which they obtained between the years 1988 and 1992. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering Management from the University of Michigan - Rackham Graduate School, completing it prior to 1999.
