Prior to their current role, Tri-Hung worked at Genzyme Corporation for nearly two decades. Tri-Hung held the position of RD Associate Director, where they spearheaded biomarker discovery for clinical trials, focusing on serum/plasma proteins, cytokines, lipids, and circulating microRNA. Additionally, they led the mass spectrometry imaging group and played a pivotal role in screening and developing therapeutic antibodies for oncology and immune-mediated diseases. Tri-Hung's tenure at Genzyme Corporation lasted from 2003 to 2022.

Before joining Genzyme Corporation, Tri-Hung worked as a Scientist II at Sangstat Medical Corp in 2003. Their responsibilities included designing and developing therapeutic rabbit polyclonal antibodies against cell surface and membrane proteins. Tri-Hung also played a key role in identifying and characterizing Thymoglobulin (ATG) antigens.

Prior to Sangstat Medical Corp, Tri-Hung served as a Scientist at Lumicyte Inc. from 2001 to 2003. In this role, they specialized in biochip design and process biological fluids for protein mapping and discovery. Tri-Hung conducted high throughput screening for diagnostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets, utilizing various techniques such as SELDI-TOF, MALDI-TOF, and protein microsequencing. Tri-Hung also contributed to the design and optimization of biochip surface chemistry to capture proteins.

Overall, Tri-Hung Nguyen has extensive experience in translational sciences, biomarker discovery, mass spectrometry imaging, antibody development, and biochip design.

Tri-Hung Nguyen's education history includes earning a Ph.D. in Biology from Boston College. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. in Chemistry/Biochemistry from San Jose State University. Tri-Hung Nguyen also attended the Yale University School of Medicine with a specialization in Neurobiology.
