Amdadur Rahman

Amdadur Rahman has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Amdadur is currently working at Shawbrook Bank as the Head of Audit - Professional Practices, where they oversee the establishment of an in-house internal audit team and the implementation of innovative working practices. Prior to joining Shawbrook Bank, they took a career break and relocated back to England from Toronto. Before their career break, they worked at BMO Financial Group as the Director of Audit Methodology, Quality Assurance, and Training. Amdadur also has experience with Lloyds Banking Group, where they held various roles including Senior Manager & Certification Regime and Head of Connect Risk. Amdadur began their career at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where they worked as a Senior Manager in the Business Process and Risk Consulting Practice, specializing in Internal Audit consulting and advisory engagements.

Amdadur Rahman attended The Manchester Metropolitan University from 1995 to 1999, earning a BA (Hons) degree in Accounting and Finance. In 2002, they obtained a certification as an FCCA from ACCA.
