Meghan Waters

Meghan Waters is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Counsel for HR/Corporate and Privacy Officer at LNG Canada since September 2022. Prior to this role, Meghan held various positions at Shell from May 2015 to October 2022, including Legal Counsel for Pensions and Company Secretary, as well as Corporate Legal Counsel. Meghan also worked as an Associate at McCarthy Tétrault from October 2011 to December 2017, focusing on corporate and commercial law, particularly in private M&A, franchising, technology, and privacy. Earlier experience includes roles as a Legal Summer Student at the City of Calgary and as a Reporter for both Calgary Herald and Toronto Star. Meghan holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Arts and Science (Honours) and English from McMaster University.
