Donovan Hunter is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in recruiting and talent management. Currently serving as the Firmwide Manager of Entry-Level Recruiting, Lateral Recruiting Manager, and Legal Recruiting and Talent Management Specialist at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP since January 2021, Donovan has a proven track record in connecting talented attorneys with leading law firms and corporations. Prior roles include Attorney Recruiter at Parker and Lynch, where Donovan successfully placed attorneys in permanent positions, and Associate Attorney at Kazan Law Firm, handling complex litigation. Donovan’s background also includes serving as Attorney Director of California/Oregon at Themis Bar Review, where legal research and student support were paramount, as well as prior experience as a Legal Assistant at Brayton Purcell LLP and an English Teacher at Guangzhou Huangjin Training Institute. Donovan holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of San Francisco School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from San Diego State University.
