Greg Verras

Greg Verras began their work experience in 2008 as the Co-Founder and Owner of Mobil Skateboards, where they managed and participated in all aspects of the creative process, including board designs, marketing, and branding. Greg also designed and managed the website, conducted R&D for new skateboards, and built handmade skateboards. In addition to their work with Mobil Skateboards, Greg freelanced in web design, sandwich shop design, and furniture design.

In 2009, Greg worked as a Creative Consultant for Maverick Media Agency until 2010. Greg then joined Fossil as an Associate Watch Designer for Diesel from 2010 to 2013.

In 2013, Greg joined Shinola as a Senior Designer, and later became the Design Director - Watches in February 2019.

Alongside their professional roles, Greg has also worked as an Adjunct Professor of Product Design at the College for Creative Studies since September 2015.

Greg Verras received their education from two different institutions. From 1999 to 2002, they attended Central Michigan University Mt where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Integrated Manufacturing. Following this, they studied at the College for Creative Studies from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Design.
