Camilo Lopez

Camilo Lopez is a seasoned engineering professional with over a decade of experience at Shopify, serving in various capacities including Principal Engineer, Director of Engineering, Senior Engineering Manager, Engineering Manager, and Software Developer since October 2011. Prior to Shopify, Camilo worked as a Software Engineer at Websense from January 2009 to October 2011, and contributed to Defensio, an anti-spam solution for social web applications, from March 2007 to December 2008 before its acquisition by Websense. Camilo holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (2003-2005) and has furthered education at Bishop's University (2005-2007) with a focus on the same discipline.
