Joshua Lawrence

Joshua Lawrence is the current General Manager of Show Imaging in San Diego. Prior to their current position, Joshua was the Associate Athletic Director of Facilities & Operations at the University of San Diego from August 2003 to October 2021. In their previous position, Joshua was responsible for managing all athletic facilities, facilities personnel, and operations. This included budgeting, scheduling, coordination with physical plant related to building systems, grounds maintenance, event production, guest relations, box office operations, and transportation of teams and personnel. Joshua was also the supervisor for Men’s and Women’s Rowing programs and was responsible for negotiating contracts for all non-University uses hosted in University of San Diego athletic facilities.

Throughout their time at the University of San Diego, Joshua successfully navigated between competing priorities of the university when booking events to meet fiscal and mission-related goals. Joshua also participated as “owner’s representative” in facilities planning including capital planning, assessment, construction, renovation, and design of current and future facilities. Some highlights from Joshua’s time at the University of San Diego include working with an architect, general contractor, and university constituents to design and build a new 1700 seat baseball stadium called Fowler Park - $12.9m – completed 2013; annually coordinating equipment requests for facility and unit related operations; developing and implementing a budget deficit mitigation strategy that absorbed a budget deficit through staffing efficiencies and rental revenue; and collaborating in the founding and launch of the San Diego Legion rugby club of Major League Rugby in 2017 and San Diego Loyal Soccer Club and installation of a new video board in Torero Stadium in 2020.

Joshua Lawrence attended UC San Diego where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science & US Theirtory.

Their manager is Steven Evans, CEO & President. They work with Kendrick Johnson - Senior Production Manager, Matthew Weil - Accounts Director, National Accounts, and Darrel Henry - Vice President.
