Ariel Shamir

Ariel Shamir is a Professor at Reichmann University (The Interdisciplinary Center) in Herzliya since October 2000. In addition, Ariel serves as a Consultant for MAPPO and has been an Advisory Board Member for SIBF VC since 2020. Ariel held the position of Visiting Professor at The University of Tokyo from October 2022 to February 2023 and was the Dean at Campus Junior between February 2020 and October 2022. Additional consulting roles include work with Donde Search (acquired by Shopify), Verisk, and Disney Research, among others. Ariel's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Post Doctoral Fellowship at The University of Texas at Austin.
