Przemyslaw Maras

Przemyslaw Maras has extensive work experience in the maritime industry, with various roles on different vessels. Przemyslaw worked as a Chief Engineer at Siem Offshore since December 2021, and previously held the position of 1st Engineer on their Offshore Subsea Construction Vessel DP2 "SIEM BARRACUDA" from January 2014 to December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a 1st Engineer at DOF / DOF Subsea from August 2012 to October 2013, Deep Sea Supply in June 2012, SANKO Line Japan from May 2010 to December 2011, and Eidesvik Offshore ASA from May 2008 to December 2009.

Przemyslaw Maras obtained their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Ship Power Plant Engineering from the Gdynia Maritime Academy, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Second Engineer Officer Certificate (3000kW and more) in June 2006. Later, in September 2011, they obtained a Chief Engineer Officer Certificate (3000kW and more). Przemyslaw also holds a Medical certificate MLC, which they obtained in March 2020 from the Port and Harbour Policlinic Gdynia. Additionally, they obtained a Medical offshore certificate UKOOA (OGUK) from the same institution in March 2020.
