VIJAY KUMAR

Vijay Kumar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. VIJAY started their career in 2012 as a Tester & QA at the National Innovation Foundation - India, where they designed, developed, and tested software enhancements. VIJAY also managed the development of applications on company websites and prepared documentation and test cases.

In 2015, Vijay joined Polaris Consulting & Services Ltd as a Consultant, specializing in software testing. VIJAY executed test cases to check the functionality of web and SharePoint applications and prepared defect reports for developers.

From 2016 to 2017, Vijay worked as a Quality Analyst at Easypolicy, an insurance comparison website. VIJAY held a web aggregation license and was responsible for ensuring quality in the website's operations.

In 2017, Vijay joined Bakerhill as a Sr. Software Test Engineer. VIJAY contributed to the testing efforts for the Baker Hill NextGen® loan origination and risk management platform.

Most recently, Vijay has been employed at SD Global Services India Private Limited since 2020. VIJAY started as a Quality Assurance Analyst and has since been promoted to Sr. QA Analyst and is currently serving as a QA Lead. VIJAY'sresponsibilities include ensuring the quality of the Baker Hill NextGen® platform, delivering sophisticated analytics and marketing solutions, and providing expert solutions for financial institutions.

Throughout their career, Vijay has demonstrated expertise in software testing, quality assurance, and project management.

Vijay Kumar completed their Master of Computer Application (MCA) degree with a focus on Computer Applications and Database at Hindustan Institute of Management & Computer Studies Mathura from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics & Industrial Chemistry from D.A.V.College, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. Vijay also completed their secondary education, obtaining their 12th grade certificate from U.P. Board) L.L.R.Inter College. VIJAY completed their high school education with a Science major from the same institution, U.P. Board) L.L.R.Inter College, in 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Vijay has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. These certifications include Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance D-A-CH e.V. in July 2022, SQL for Testers from LinkedIn in February 2021, Python Essential Training from LinkedIn in June 2020, and ISTQB Certified from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in December 2014.
