Sylvie Franz

Sylvie Franz has over 30 years of work experience in the medical field. In 1988, they began their career as Manager Clinical Studies and Research Optometrist at Cornea and Contact Lens Research Unit (CCLRU). In 1992, they moved to International Association of Contact Lens Educators (IACLE) as Director of Education. In 1998, they became Executive Director at International Center for Eyecare Education. From 2002 to 2004, they worked as Director Clinical Research at Ocular Science, Inc and Cooper Vision Inc, respectively. In 2005, they were Vice President Clinical Affairs at Revision Optics. From 2009 to 2010, they were Deputy CEO and Vice President Clinical and Regulatory Affairs at Adventus Technology Inc and Chief Executive Officer at Adventus Technology Pty Ltd, respectively. Currently, they are Medical Affairs at SightGlass Vision, Inc. since 2022. Sylvie has specialties in product development process, including R&D, clinical research, regulatory affairs and patient, practitioner education. Sylvie also has an excellent understanding of the market needs, both internationally and within US for practitioner acceptance of new ophthalmic products.

Sylvie Franz completed their Bachelor of Optometry from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), with a focus in Optometry. Sylvie then went on to complete their Master of Commerce from UNSW.
