Michal Daniely has an extensive work experience in the field of life sciences. Michal is currently the Director and Head of the Microbiome Initiative at Merck Life Science since September 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Sigma-Aldrich as the Director of Research & Development starting from July 2014. Michal served as the Clinical Director at Amorphical from February 2012 to June 2014. From August 2010 to December 2011, they held the position of Diagnostics Director at Procognia. Michal also worked at BioView as the Director of Research & Test Development from 2000 to July 2010. Michal Daniely started their career at Wolfson Medical Center as the Manager of the Molecular Cytogenetic Laboratory in 1999. Prior to that, they worked as a Lab Technician at Sheba Medical Center from 1994 to 1999.
Michal Daniely earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1989. Michal then pursued a Master of Science degree in Human Genetics at Tel Aviv University from 1991 to 1993. Later, they completed their education with a PhD in Human Genetics from Tel Aviv University, which they obtained between 1994 and 1999.
