Rob Ewing

Managing Partner, VP Brand Architecture at Simple Media

Rob Ewing has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Rob began their career as a Web Designer and Copywriter at AVO International Training Institute in 1998. Rob then joined Dantack Corporation and worked as an Assistant Marketing Director, overseeing corporate communication, branding standards, and co-branded marketing initiatives with Best Buy and Gatorade.

In 2005, Rob moved to Rassai Internet Solutions, where they served as an Interactive Project Manager and Business Analyst. Rob then joined 3rd Coast Video, a production division of Rassai Interactive, as the Managing Director of Interactive Content. After that, they worked at Rassai Interactive as a Creative Producer and Director, overseeing video and voice-over strategies for various clients.

In 2008, Rob joined AlgoRhythm | AlgoRhythm Studios as the Managing Producer of Video Content and Senior Interactive Strategist. During this time, they oversaw all video projects, studio operations, and collaborated with NBCUniversal as a Producing Partner.

From 2011 to 2015, Rob worked at Sq1 as the Director of User Experience Design, specializing in Lean Startup, Information Architecture, and Agile/Scrum Design Methodology. Rob served various clients, including Jiffy Lube, Medicine After the Holocaust, Del Friscos, and Unilever's TIGI/Bedhead.

In 2014, Rob became a Managing Partner and Vice President of Brand Architecture at Simple Media, LLC. Rob'sresponsibilities included guiding the consultancy's strategic direction, managing daily activities, and overseeing branding and digital solutions.

From 2015 onwards, Rob joined Hedron Entertainment (Symphony Media Group) as a Development Executive, focusing on the development, fundraising, marketing, and distribution modeling of scripted works and documentaries.

Most recently, Rob has been working as the Managing Director at Furious Media, an entertainment strategies agency. In this role, they oversee brand strategies, program management, creative campaigns, digital/social development, and publicity, working in collaboration with talent, representation, and studios.

Throughout their career, Rob has acquired expertise in brand management, digital solutions, user experience design, and multi-channel campaign strategies. Rob has worked with a wide range of clients in various industries, including entertainment, apparel, health, technology, food/beverage, consumer goods, and travel/tourism/hospitality.

Rob Ewing has a diverse education history. Rob pursued Communications with a focus on Broadcast Management and Advertising at The University of Texas at Arlington. In addition, they obtained a degree in Business Information Technology, specializing in Project Management and Digital Development, from the University of Phoenix, Phoenix Campus. Rob also attended the Community College of the Air Force from 1994 to 2000, where they studied Information Management. More recently, they earned a Professional Certificate in Feature Film Writing from UCLA Extension.
