Adam Ding

Adam Ding's work experience starts with their current position as the Senior Director of Research and Development at Curonix since February 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Director of Hardware Engineering & General Manager at Singular Medical from August 2020 until their current position. At Singular Medical, they led the hardware research and development team, collaborated cross-functionally to create development strategies, and drove the development of the company's Class III CRM medical device portfolio.

Before joining Singular Medical, Adam worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Medtronic from May 2018 to May 2019. During their time at Medtronic, they implemented the hardware of a closed-loop glucose monitoring system, led the design verification of the EE subsystem, and participated in developing a production testing system for a glucose sensor transmitter system.

Adam's earlier experience includes working at NUROTRON BIOTECHNOLOGY, INC. from April 2016 to April 2018, starting as a Product Development Manager and later as a Senior Hardware Development Engineer. As a Product Development Manager, they led a core team in developing an implantable sacral nerve stimulator system and established a quality management system per regulatory requirements. As a Senior Hardware Development Engineer, they developed micro-power electrical circuits for medical devices, collaborated with designers for system architecture design, and worked on ASIC layout and testing for cochlear implants.

Overall, Adam Ding has a well-rounded background in research and development, hardware engineering, and program management in the medical device industry.

Adam Ding has a diverse education history with a focus on both engineering and business. Adam earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2010. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California from 2010 to 2012. Later, Adam completed their education at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree between 2019 and 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Adam Ding has obtained certifications in executive leadership and developing executive presence. These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn in April 2021.
