Richard Hernandez, M.S., is an experienced agricultural science educator currently serving as an Agricultural Science Teacher at Sinton ISD since July 2023. Responsibilities include developing and implementing curriculum for agricultural courses, facilitating laboratory instruction, and coaching FFA competition teams. Prior to this, Richard worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, assisting in the teaching of Agri Power & Machinery, and held various roles in agricultural settings, including an APHIS PPQ Aid at USDA and an Integrated Pest Management Intern at Texas A&M AgriLife. Richard has a substantial background in operational roles on farms, having been an Interim Foreman at S&G Harvesting and a Farm Hand at John Scaief Farms. Richard holds a Master of Science in Agriculture, focusing on Agricultural Science and Education, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
