Stephanie Blenckner

Stephanie Blenckner serves as the Communications Director at the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) since 2009, where responsibilities include developing and implementing the long-term communications strategy, advising senior management, managing external communications, and enhancing SIPRI's international profile across various communities. Prior to this role, Stephanie worked at the Stockholm International Water Institute from 2003 to 2008 as the Communications Manager, focusing on strategic planning, media relations, and event management. Stephanie holds a Master’s Degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from Christian-Albrechts University, Germany, earned between 1992 and 1997.
