Tom Carrio

Tom Carrio is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and operational leadership. Currently serving as a Staff Backend Engineer and Engineering Manager at Skillshare since February 2022, Tom also holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Ethereal Elegance Aromatics. Prior roles include Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Dynatrace, and Software Engineer at Ally, where foundational skills in full-stack development and DevSecOps were honed. Earlier experiences include significant IT support and system administration roles at Benteler Automotive and RadioShack. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Oakland University, along with multiple associate degrees in related fields from Oakland Community College.
