Darren Hsieh

Darren Hsieh has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Darren started their career as the Head of Business Development at a stealth mode startup from 2003 to 2005. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as an M&A Associate at Ernst & Young. Hsieh then joined Applied Materials, where they worked as a Corporate Marketing Senior Analyst from 2006 to 2008 and as a Strategic Account Business Development Lead from 2008 to 2010. Darren then moved to Bridgelux, Inc. as the VP of OEM Sales from 2010 to 2016. In 2016, Hsieh joined Skycatch as the Global Head of Business Development & Partnerships. Darren has also worked as a Private Investor/Advisor in various companies in AI/ML, healthcare, retail, devops, logistics, sustainability, and other industries since 2006. Additionally, Hsieh has been a Stanford Alumni Mentor since 2020. Darren recently worked at Matroid, Inc. as the Vice President of Business Development/Strategic Advisor from 2020 to 2021.

Darren Hsieh has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Business & Strategy from Stanford University. Darren also pursued a MS/PhD in Materials Science (Solid Oxide Fuel Cell) at Stanford University. In addition, they have obtained an Applied Data Science Program certification from MIT Professional Education. Furthermore, they have certifications in ABM (Account-Based Marketing) from Demandbase and ACCME (Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education) from Stanford University.
