Nicole Kohli has worked in the scientific field since 2008. Nicole began their career as a Lab Technician at CSL Behring, where they were responsible for protein purification in Process Development (R&D) from Lab and Kilo Lab Scale using Filtration and Dialysis Units and ÄKTA Crossflow Systems. Nicole also completed an apprenticeship as a Lab Technician, during which they completed internal rotational internships in Quality Control and Process Development with simultaneous lecture courses in sciences. In 2013, they returned to CSL Behring as a Lab Technician.
From 2015 to 2016, Nicole worked as a Research Assistant at A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research, where they were responsible for tissue engineering of dermal and adipose tissues under macromolecular crowding to enhance ECM deposition and architecture. Nicole also evaluated ECM deposition and architecture by immunofluorescence and acquired and edited images using a confocal laser scanning microscope and ImageJ/Imaris respectively.
In 2016, Nicole began working at ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences as a Research Assistant, where they were responsible for tissue engineering of adipose tissue under macromolecular crowding to enhance ECM deposition and architecture. Nicole also evaluated ECM deposition and architecture by immunofluorescence and acquired and edited images using a confocal laser scanning microscope and ImageJ/Imaris respectively.
Since 2018, Nicole has been employed at Skyhawk Therapeutics as a Principal Associate Scientist, Senior Research Associate, and Research Associate III.
Nicole Kohli has a diverse educational background. Nicole began their studies in 2008 with an apprenticeship and vocational matura in Technology and Lab Technician (Chemistry) at gibb Berufsfachschule Bern. From 2012 to 2015, they attended ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry with a focus on Biochemistry. In 2015, they continued their studies at ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences and earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemistry for the Life Sciences with a focus on Tissue Engineering. In 2014, they took non-credit and credit classes at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Chemistry/Biochemistry. Currently, they are taking non-credit and credit classes at Harvard Extension School.
