David Arft

David Arft currently serves as VP of Engineering and Head of Vehicle Engineering at Skyline Mobility since May 2023. Previously, David held the position of Director of R3PI Vehicle Engineering at Canoo from November 2022 to May 2023, and Director of Engineering at Stealth Mode from April 2022 to October 2022. At Canoo from January 2018 to April 2022, David led teams in Systems Engineering, Body Controls, Functional Safety, and Electrical Systems Integration, contributing to the company's growth from 30 to 300 employees and achieving program milestones for the first production vehicle. Earlier experience includes roles at Faraday Future as Senior Manager of Electrical Engineering Test & Validation and Vehicle Systems Integration Engineer, and positions at Altex Technologies Corporation and Adaptive Materials Inc. David holds a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, earned in 2006.
