Corne Bassa

Corne Bassa is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Manager of Engineering at Skytron since January 2023, and previously held the role of Sr. R&D Engineer at Skytron Europe since September 2012, focusing on the design and development of medical equipment for operating rooms and intensive care units. Prior experience includes working as an Engineer for energy distribution systems at Actemium from February 2011 to August 2012, where responsibilities encompassed various engineering tasks related to a 110kV high voltage network, including steel structures, electrical schematics, components, and cable calculations. Earlier in career, Corne Bassa worked as a Mechanical Engineer at CortexCortex from August 2009 to February 2011, contributing to a project aimed at creating a machine that removes staples from documents for digitization. Corne Bassa holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechatronics from Hanze, completed in 2010.
