SLANG Global is a dynamic nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting cross-cultural understanding and language learning, with a focus on the Spanish-speaking African Diaspora of Latin America and the Caribbean. We facilitate educational exchanges and cultural programs between Nigeria and the Afro-Latin Diaspora to foster awareness and empowerment.
Position Overview: We are seeking a self-motivated Social Media Intern to join our team. This remote, part-time position will primarily involve managing our presence on the platforms Threads and X (Twitter). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in increasing our follower count, keeping our audience informed about SLANG Global's latest news and initiatives, and engaging in relevant conversations.
Responsibilities:
Requirements:
Strong understanding of Threads and X (Twitter) platforms.
Experience managing social media accounts, preferably in a professional or organizational setting.
Knowledge or willingness to learn about advertising and promotion on X (Twitter).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
Passion for cross-cultural understanding and promoting diversity.
