Sabrina Lawlor has a diverse work experience history. Sabrina is currently a Trustee at After Matters since January 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Principal Lawyer at Slater and Gordon Lawyers (UK) from December 2019. Sabrina is also an Editorial Board member for Neuro Rehab Times since May 2022. In 2018, they became a Founding Member of the Business Disability Forum - Northern England Network, a non-profit organization focused on facilitating business with and employing disabled individuals. In 2021, they joined the Vocational Rehabilitation Association as a Member of the Board of Trustees. From June 2017 to November 2022, they worked as a Disability Inclusion & Vocational Rehabilitation Advocate at BASIC (Brain and Spinal Injury Centre), providing support and advice to service users with neurological conditions and spinal injuries. Additionally, they have been a Committee member, Fundraiser, and Volunteer at Headway - the brain injury association since January 2010. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Solicitor at CFG Law from March 2015 to December 2018. From January 2011 to December 2018, they served as the Regional Coordinator and Campaigner for the North West Acquired Brain Injury Forum (NoWABIF), coordinating a regional group and working with various stakeholders. Sabrina 'sprofessional journey began as a Solicitor at Irwin Mitchell from January 2009 to February 2015.
Sabrina Lawlor has a LLB (Hons) degree in Law & Politics from Queen's University Belfast, which they obtained from 1999 to 2001. Sabrina also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice in Law from The College of Law Chester, which they earned from 2001 to 2002. Recently, they completed an MSc degree in Vocational & Occupational Rehabilitation from Sheffield Hallam University from 2019 to 2020. Additionally, Sabrina Lawlor has obtained certifications as an APIL Brain Injury Specialist and an APIL Senior Litigator from the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
