Sujith Ravi

Sujith Ravi is the Founder and CEO of SliceX AI, established in 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Board Member on the Industry Advisory Board for the University of California, Santa Cruz, starting in 2020. Sujith worked as the Director of Alexa AI for Amazon from 2019 until 2021. Before Amazon, Sujith worked at Google for seven years from 2012 until 2019, where they held the position of Senior Staff Research Scientist, Senior Manager & Technical Lead. In this role, they led cross-organizational teams and founded and headed Google's various AI platforms and technologies used in Search, Ads, Assistant, Gmail, Photos, Android, Cloud, and YouTube. Sujith chaired and organized the AI & Deep Learning track at the National Academy of Engineering GAFOE in 2019. Sujith also worked as a Research Scientist at Yahoo in 2011 and as a Research Assistant at USC Information Sciences Institute from 2006 until 2011. Additionally, Sujith was a research intern at Yahoo Research in 2009 and at Google Research in 2007.

Sujith Ravi holds a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning from the University of Southern California. Prior to their PhD, they also earned an MS in Computer Science from the same university. No further information is provided regarding their education history.
