Arik Dondi has a diverse work experience across various organizations. Currently, they serve as the Head of Regulatory Design and Delivery at Smart DCC, a position they started in April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Ofgem from 2017 to 2021 as a Programme Manager, specifically leading the Switching Programme. From 2013 to 2017, they held the position of Director of External Relations at the Rural Payments Agency. Before that, they served as the Deputy Director of Sustainable Land and Soils at the UK Department of Environment Food and Rural Affairs from 2011 to 2013. Their earlier roles include being the Deputy Director of Climate Change Mitigation in Agriculture and Deputy Director of Exotic Disease Policy at Defra from 2008 to 2011.
Arik Dondi attended Realgymnasium Raemibuehl in Zurich, Switzerland from 1991 to 1997, where they completed their Swiss Matura degree. Following this, they enrolled in Corpus Christi College at the University of Oxford from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Classics.
