Son Le

Son Le has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Their most recent position was as a Data Scientist at Smarter Sorting, where they worked on machine learning classifiers and deep learning sequence to sequence models. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Engineering and Data Science at Dandy. Son also has experience as a Software Engineer during their self-employment and as a Research Associate at FBR. In addition, they worked as a Research Analyst at Barclays, where they built models and wrote research reports. Son also gained experience as a Research Assistant at Georgetown University, where they conducted regression analysis and handled large datasets for research projects. Son additionally worked at IDG Ventures Vietnam, where they researched and analyzed the mobile payment market, and as a Project Manager at IDG Ventures Vietnam - MX Online Payment Corp, where they led the development of a business plan for a real estate startup.

Son Le completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at Georgetown University from 2010 to 2014. During this time, they pursued a double major in Economics and Mathematics on an honors track. In 2011, they participated in a study abroad program at the University of Melbourne, where they took coursework in Finance, Accounting, and Statistics. After completing their undergraduate studies, Son Le went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Economics at Georgetown University from 2014 to 2019.
