Debabrata Sinhamahapatra

Debabrata Sinhamahapatra has a solid background in security and management roles. Debabrata is currently the Chief Security Officer at SMC Power Generation Limited since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Premier Vigilance & Security Private Limited from May 2016 to December 2019, where they served as the Manager of Training, Operation, and Business Development. In this role, they were responsible for the deployment and training of security personnel, as well as imparting training for security, safety, fire fighting, and first aid. Before that, from September 2014 to April 2016, they held the position of Associate General Manager at RAXA SECURITY SERVICES PVT LTD OF GMR GROUP, where they were in charge of ensuring the efficiency, discipline, and moral of the unit, as well as protecting and safeguarding a thermal power plant. Their earlier experience includes working as an Inspector at the Central Industrial Security Force (cisf) from January 1992 to August 2014, where they analyzed risk factors, ensured execution processes as per the company's security policy, and implemented intelligent security systems to prevent or combat risks.

Debabrata Sinhamahapatra has an extensive education history. Debabrata obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Burdwan University in 1989. Prior to that, they completed their Higher Secondary education in Science from Simlapal MM High School in 1986 and their Secondary education from Kashipur High School in 1984.

In terms of higher education, Debabrata completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Safety Management from Annamalai University in 2015. Debabrata also obtained a Master's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Annamalai University in 2012. Additionally, they completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relation from Annamalai University in 2011 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University in 2010.

Debabrata has also pursued multiple certifications throughout their career. In 2019, they obtained a certification in Enhancing Soft Skill & Personality from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a certification in Training of Trainer from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Safety Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.

Furthermore, they have obtained various certifications from different institutions. Some of these certifications include PPC from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in 2012, Hindi Typing from the Hindi Teaching Scheme in 2011, FRMC from the Royal Life Saving Society Kolkata in 2009, and Master Trainer from the CISF in 2009. Other certifications include Maintenance and Operation of OBM from Fabroplast Noida in 2009 and Certification of Screeners from the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security in 2005.
