Andrés Nieto

Andrés Nieto has a diverse range of work experience. Andrés began their career as a Freelance Web Designer, working on various projects. Andrés then transitioned to working as a Design Consultant for La Mansión Inversiones y Construcciones. After that, Andrés worked as an Ecommerce Specialist for Divertimenti, where they established a standardised product photography system and trained staff on running an ecommerce. Andrés then became a Foreign Trade Specialist at Polari5 S.A.S. before starting their own company, Los de Búho, as a Co-Founder and CEO. Under their leadership, Los de Búho became a leading company in design consultancy, working with major clients across industries and pioneering new technologies. Andrés also worked as a CEO/CTO for MessaApp, overseeing the company and its various departments. Most recently, they were a Senior Product Designer at HomeToGo before taking on the role of Lead Product Designer at Smoobu - The Vacation Rental Software. Overall, Andrés has a proven track record of leadership and innovation in the field of design.

Andrés Nieto holds a BA in Industrial Designer, with a focus on Industrial and Product Design, from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, obtained between 2008 and 2014. Andrés later pursued an MA in Interactive Digital Media, specializing in Interaction Design, from Ravensbourne University London, completed between 2014 and 2015. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in Autodesk Smoke, Certified Professional Autodesk 3ds Max 2013, and Rhinoceros.
