Sergiu Buciuc

Sergiu Buciuc is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in fullstack development and software architecture. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Hyperhuman since July 2021, Sergiu specializes in best coding practices and relevant technology stacks such as React Native, Node, and AWS. Previously, at Hootsuite from October 2017, Sergiu contributed to the frontend ecosystem and significantly improved company-wide processes while coordinating major technical changes and mentoring new talent. Earlier roles include Senior Software Engineer at Axway, where Sergiu led a major migration project to React, and a Principal Software Engineer at Ixia, where leadership in product development and an issued US patent were notable achievements. Sergiu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
