Nasra Ali

Nasra Ali currently serves as the 1st Vice Chairman of the Children and Education Committee for Socialdemokraterna Strängnäs since January 2023. Concurrently, Nasra has held the position of Political Secretary in the Riksdag Group Secretariat and has worked closely with the Party Secretary General Lena Rådström Baastad in the Party Leadership Office since May 2020. Additionally, a board member of the UN Association of Sweden since June 2018, Nasra was a Political Advisor for the Swedish Social Democratic Party in the Stockholm Region from May 2015 to May 2020 and served as Chairman of the Socialdemokratiska studentförbundet (S-studenter) from July 2017 to July 2019. Previous engagements include internships at the Permanent Representation of Sweden to the EU and administrative roles at Arbetsförmedlingen and Herbert Felix Institut. Nasra holds bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Human Resources from Lund University and Malmö University, respectively, and has studied abroad at James Cook University.
