Melanie Petsch has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Melanie is currently working as a Deployment Strategist at Palantir Technologies since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as a member of the School of Mechanical Engineering Advisory Council at Purdue University starting in September 2019.

Melanie also worked as a Quantitative Financial Researcher at TIAA-CREF from May 2004 to August 2007, and as a US Portfolio Strategist at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein from May 2003 to May 2004.
Melanie Petsch completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University from 1985 to 1988. Melanie then pursued an MBA from the University of Chicago, specializing in Business, from 1990 to 1992. Subsequently, Melanie Petsch engaged in PhD studies at the University of Chicago, focusing on Finance, from 1992 to 1995.
