Aria Lin

Aria Lin has a diverse background in data analysis and engineering. Aria recently started working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Sony Interactive Entertainment in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Data Analyst at Capital One in 2021. In 2020, Aria had multiple roles, including a Business Intelligence Engineer Intern at Amazon Web Services (AWS) where they developed tools and business recommendations for internal clients. Aria also worked as a Data Analyst at 72 DRAGONS, LLC. In 2019, Aria served as a Data Science Intern at Rockchip, where they developed a grocery self-checkout system based on object detection algorithms. Additionally, they gained experience as a Finance & Data Analyst Intern at Industrial Bank Co., Ltd. and as a Marketing Analyst Intern at Boston Scientific in 2018. Throughout their experiences, they demonstrated skills in Python, SQL, Tableau, and deep learning algorithms.

Aria Lin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics and Data Science from UC Santa Barbara, which they obtained in 2019. Aria also has a Master of Arts degree in Statistics from Columbia University, which they completed in 2020. In addition, Aria pursued studies in Mathematics and Statistics at The University of Edinburgh, although the specific degree obtained and the end year are unknown. Aria obtained a certification as a SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 from SAS in August 2017.
