Marcela Esquivel

Marcela Esquivel serves as the Vice President of People Experience (HR) for Asia and the Middle East at Sony Music Entertainment since November 2023. Prior to this role, Marcela accumulated extensive experience over two decades at The Coca-Cola Company, where responsibilities included strategic HR leadership, DEI initiatives, and organizational transformation across multiple regions. Notably, Marcela held the positions of Vice President Human Resources for Coca-Cola ASEAN & South Pacific and Global Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. Earlier career experiences include roles at Hewitt Associates and Phelps Dodge Mining Company, focusing on organization effectiveness and employee relations. Marcela holds a Master’s Degree in Business/Commerce from Universidad de Santiago de Chile and another Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
