Daniel Kern

Daniel Kern has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and project management. Daniel worked as the Head of Software Development at SORAVIA Group GmbH, where they led software projects and managed software requirements. Prior to that, they were a Team Leader of Software Development at the same company, where they were responsible for planning, conceptualizing, and implementing desktop and web-based software solutions. Daniel also worked as a Project Manager and Software Developer at IFA AG, where they were involved in the planning, conception, and development of software solutions. Additionally, Daniel has experience as an IT Consultant at EBCONT, a Software Developer and Instructor at Fachhochschule Oberösterreich, and a Software Developer at ENGEL, COUNT IT Group, and Fabasoft. Daniel began their career with a Zivildienst role at Stadt Linz.

Daniel Kern's education history begins in 2004 when they attended HTL Perg and obtained a Matura degree in EDV & Organisation in 2009. Daniel then pursued higher education at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Software Engineering from 2011 to 2013. Continuing their education at the same university, Daniel obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Software Engineering from 2013 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Daniel also obtained a certification as a Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering from Certible in October 2019.
