Jessica Cope is a seasoned professional in business improvement and operational planning, currently holding the position of Manager of Business Improvement at South32 since June 2015. Jessica has led various initiatives, including the development of an Improvement Strategy for operations, management of improvement portfolios, and the facilitation of business planning processes. Prior roles include Principal Business Improvement and Superintendent of Production Planning and Business Improvement, where Jessica excelled in team leadership and optimization of planning and forecasting. Notable achievements include designing a Management Operating System and conducting a successful site-wide safety improvement project. Previously, Jessica coordinated Health, Safety, and Environment functions during the demerger of BHP Billiton into South32 and has a robust academic background with an MBA and multiple degrees in Environmental Science and Economics.
