Phomolo Seithati Ntumelang's work experience begins with their current role as a Team Lead IT Specialist at South32, where they lead and manage impactful IT projects within the mining operation. They utilize Power BI to construct dynamic reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making through insightful analysis of business data. Prior to this, they worked as a Linux System Administrator at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), where they monitored high-performance computers, configured and troubleshooted systems, and managed user profiles using Bright Cluster management. Starting their career, they had a role as a Data Science Intern at Telkom, where they utilized Python libraries for data exploration, cleaning, and visualization, developed prediction models using Machine Learning Algorithms, and used SQL and BigQuery to query data from databases and Google Cloud.

Phomolo Seithati Ntumelang has a strong educational background in computer science and related fields. They obtained a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics from North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit in 2017. Later, they pursued further studies at ExploreAI Academy and earned a Certificate in Data Science in 2019. They also completed a Certificate in Business Management - AIMS ESMT IIP from ESMT Berlin in 2022. Currently, Phomolo is pursuing a BSc Honours in Computer Science from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, which is expected to be completed in 2023. In addition to their formal education, Phomolo has obtained several certifications in various areas, including project management, IT service management, database management, and networking.
