Thomas Rye

Thomas Rye, MBA, PHR has a diverse and extensive work experience in human resources and employee relations. Thomas is currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Southeast Behavioral Hospital since September 2022. Prior to this, Thomas worked at Phelps Health, where they held the position of Director of Employee Relations and later transitioned to Senior Human Resources Business Partner from September 2019 to December 2022. Before joining Phelps Health, they worked as an HR Generalist at US Foods from September 2018 to September 2019. Thomas also brings valuable experience from their time serving in the United States Air Force as a Training Instructor from August 2004 to August 2018.

Thomas Rye, MBA, PHR, has a diverse education history. Thomas obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Park University between 2021 and 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Resources Management from Park University from 2014 to 2017. Thomas also holds an Associates in Applied Science degree in Instructor of Technology and Military Science from the Community College of the Air Force, which they received between 2014 and 2016. Additionally, they obtained an Associates in Applied Science degree in Construction Technology from the Community College of the Air Force in 2007 to 2009. Thomas Rye has further expanded their expertise by obtaining certifications such as True Colors Certified Facilitator from True Colors International in October 2020 and becoming a Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) through HRCI in March 2020.
