Zhenkun Zheng

Zhenkun Zheng is an experienced professional in chemical engineering and business development, currently serving as the Business Development Manager at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) since 2017. In this role, Zhenkun specializes in machine learning techniques, including predictive modeling and data mining utilizing SAS, while also leading pilot-test and scale-up projects. Previously, Zhenkun held positions at Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) from 2009 to 2017, where responsibilities included process research and engineering within various plants focused on bitumen extraction and tailings management. Zhenkun's early career included work as a Process Analyst at SGS Canada Inc. Zhenkun holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and degrees in Chemical Engineering and Marketing from Zhejiang University.
