Juanita N. Morning

Juanita N. Morning, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has extensive work experience in various HR roles. Juanita N. started their career as an HR Coordinator at MBNA America in 1991, where they worked until 1999. Following this, they worked as a Recruiter at Wachovia for a brief period in 1999.

In 1999, Juanita joined Delta Air Lines as a General Manager - Human Resources, where they served as an HR Business Partner to various corporate business units until 2011. During their time at Delta Air Lines, they provided support in areas such as performance management, employee relations, leadership development, recruitment, and diversity.

From 2011 to 2012, Juanita worked as a Human Resources Manager at United Stationers, where they offered HR support to General and Assistant Operations Managers, including performance coaching, counseling, and leadership training.

In 2012, Juanita took on a role as an Adjunct Instructor at Troy University, where they facilitated SHRM-CP & SHRM-SCP Certification Prep classes to students. Additionally, they taught certification preparation for PHR/SPHR.

Since 2012, Juanita has been working at Southern Company Gas as an HR Director, leading HR initiatives for Commercial Operations and Government Affairs in multiple locations. Their responsibilities include managing HR managers, performance management, employee relations, and organizational design and development.

Juanita N. Morning, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a Bachelor's degree in English from Georgia State University and a Master's degree in Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Central Michigan University. Juanita N. has additional certifications including SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SCP) from SHRM in 2015, Achieve Global Facilitation from Achieve Global in 2014, and various other certifications in coaching and facilitation from different institutions.
