Jacob Nicholson

Jacob Nicholson is an experienced agronomy professional with a strong background in agricultural research and management. Currently serving as the Agronomy Store Manager at Southern States Cooperative since March 2019, Jacob also held the position of Assistant Manager. Prior experience includes roles at BASF from May 2011 to March 2019, where Jacob worked as a Research Technician conducting trials on herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides, as well as as a Field Technician at the North Carolina Research Farm. Jacob's career began at the NCDA Agronomic Division as a Lab Assistant, focusing on soil sample preparation. Jacob is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy and Crop Science from North Carolina State University, where studies began in 2009 and are ongoing.
