Mgist Patrick Teate

Patrick Teate has a diverse work experience in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Patrick started their career as a GIS Technician at ROLTA | Americas in 2013, where they developed professional relationships with Southeast Companies, conducted data manipulation, and created visual representations of services provided by the company. Patrick then moved to Atlanta Gas Light in 2014 as a GIS Technician, where they located service gas pipelines, updated data using field calculations and digitizing techniques in ArcGIS. In 2017, Patrick joined Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc as an Operations Research Analyst. Patrick integrated GIS into research analytics and client projects, created maps for weather-related events and facility locations, and utilized 3D visualization for resource movement and threat mitigation tactics.

Patrick Teate attended Georgia Southern University from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and a minor in GIS. Patrick then pursued a Master's Degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2015.
