Shawn Zhang

Shawn Zhang began their work experience in 2000 as a Research Assistant at the Urban Data Visualization Lab, CUPPA. Shawn then moved on to become the Director of Research and Development at Bruce Harris and Associates, INC in 2002, where they stayed until 2008. In 2008, Shawn joined Spatial Front, Inc as the EVP and continued in that role indefinitely. In 2008, they also took on the position of Director of Research and Development at Data Enhancement Services, LLC, which they held until 2009. From 2009 to 2010, Shawn worked as the GIS Enterprise Architect at WMATA.

Shawn Zhang has a Master's degree in Mathematical Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago, which they obtained from 2001 to 2002. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2001, they also earned a Master's degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois Chicago. Shawn also has several additional certifications, including CSM, GISP, MCP, and Safe Agilist, although there is no information available regarding the institutions or the specific time they obtained these certifications. Shawn is also in the process of obtaining a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
