Yvonne Snell is a seasoned professional in education and sports management, currently serving as the General Manager of Participation and Programs at Special Olympics Australia since July 2018. In this role, Yvonne manages partnerships with National Sporting Organisations and government entities to enhance sports opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Previously, Yvonne held positions such as the National Partnerships Manager and Learning and Development Manager at Special Olympics, focusing on improving inclusive practices in sports. Yvonne is also the founder of Yvonne Snell Consulting, providing specialized consulting services in education and sport since November 2015. Earlier experience includes roles at the Australian Sports Commission, where Yvonne contributed to initiatives that promote children's participation in sports, and teaching positions in primary schools. Yvonne holds a Bachelor's degree in Education and Applied Science from Deakin University and a Professional Certificate in Management from Mt Eliza Business School.
