George Gouvis

George Gouvis has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. George started their career as a VP Finance at Lefroy's Place from 2010 to 2013, where they managed financials, budgets, inventory, and customer interactions. George then worked as a Sales Associate at Best Buy Canada from 2014 to 2016. From 2016 to 2017, George served as an Account Manager at CDI Computer Dealers Inc., where they worked with educational systems across North America and consulted on IT solutions. George then worked as a Sales Associate at Rogers Communications from 2017 to 2018. George joined Sports IQ Analytics in 2020 as a Live Sports Betting Analyst, where they tracked micro events, ensured system functionality, and escalated issues. Currently, since 2018, George is employed at Scotiabank, initially working as a Customer Service Representative and currently as a Financial Advisor, where they proactively discover customer needs, educates customers, and builds customer plans using a holistic approach.

George Gouvis completed the Mortgage Agent Course at REMIC in 2021, with a focus on Real Estate. In 2020, they also obtained a certification from the IFSE Institute in the Canadian Investment Funds Course, specializing in Finance and Financial Management Services. Prior to this, from 2010 to 2014, they pursued their undergraduate studies at Western University, where they earned an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
