Esmit Perez

Esmit Perez is an experienced software engineer and tech lead with a diverse range of work experience spanning over 20 years. Esmit is currently working as an Engineering Manager at Spreedly, where they have demonstrated expertise in securely connecting to Payment Service Providers and integrating 3rd party services and vendor software. Esmit has launched Spreedly's 3DS Global, designed MIT framework, created documentation style guide, and conducted deep-dive overviews on the platform and practices.

Prior to Spreedly, Esmit worked at General Motors as a Senior Software Developer and Tech Lead, specializing in supply chain and logistics. Esmit achieved significant cost savings by designing and integrating microservice-based solutions and successfully implemented the integration of FedEx Rate and Shipment API, replacing outsource services and saving approximately $250K per year.

Esmit also has experience working at HP as a Senior Software Developer and Tech Lead, where they designed content ingestion layers and provided L3 support for HP Passport, the company's single sign-on and identity management solution.
